The Kia Soul EV (pictured) is now being produced for Europe
The electric Kia Soul was revealed at the Chicago Motor Show back in February, with Kia promising it would go on sale in the UK and Europe late in 2014. And that looks to be on track. Kia has announced that the Soul EV for the export market has now gone in to production – the first electric car from Kia destined for export from South Korea – with the first cars off the production line destined for Europe.

The new Kia Flagship K9 is close to launch in South Korea as Kia reveals interior photos, engine details and promo videos. The Kia K9 is the new Kia Flagship that looks more like a BMW 7 Series than a BMW 7 Series. And it’s looking like the K9 could start to move buyers’ opinions in the luxury market firmly in Kia’s direction.
Jaguar C-X16 won't be the Jaguar XE
It’s been revealed that the new smaller sport car from Jaguar – the C-X16 Concept – won’t be called the Jaguar XE. The Jaguar C-X16 Concept – a new smaller sports car based on the next generation XK platform – was revealed at last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, and although we were a little underwhelmed with the design – there is nothing wrong with it, it just didn’t seem to move Jaguar’s design language on – we loved what was on offer. What we did think – in common with just about everyone else – is that Jaguar would make their new Sports car the Jaguar XE, evoking memories of the original E-Type in the process and fitting in with the current Jaguar nomenclature quite well.
